新北市三重六張街今凌晨3時許，騎樓機車起火燃燒，警消獲報趕抵，發現火勢已經延燒
到一旁民宅，立即佈水線搶救並加派支援，據現場民眾表示，遭延燒的民宅疑似有3至4名
民眾受困，火勢在警消一個多小時搶救下熄滅，但不幸的在延燒的民宅內發現6人已葬身
火窟。
警消調查，該棟樓為翁姓一家人，現場為3樓老舊公寓建築物，3樓頂為鐵皮加蓋，3樓頂
加蓋臥室床上有5人死亡，另外1人在陽台死亡，起火點在1樓騎樓的機車，共燒燬7輛機車
，火勢向上延燒至2、3樓及頂樓加蓋，1樓燒燬前半部面積7坪，其他各樓層皆全毀燃燒各
20坪，總燃燒面積67坪，不排除人為縱火可能，起火原因仍有待調查。
